Claudia was fabulous! The apartment was even nicer than the photos, great location and good food nearby. Claudia s English was good, and she was delightful and very knowledgeable. We got a wonderful and fascinating experience of Old Havana, and took a taxi ride in a beautiful 50s convertible. She also took us out to Vinales which is absolutely gorgeous where we rode horses through incredible vistas with awe-inspiring cliffs. Visiting a cigar plantation, rolling our own cigars, and a delicious rum tasting rounded out a very special journey. It was a truly amazing adventure, and can not thank Claudia enough for being such an awesome, friendly and informative host! Highly recommended. 5+ STARS!

Claudia is the best host - I really enjoyed staying here. It was extremely clean, a spacious room, very good AC to keep the room cool, and also what is very helpful in Cuba is that Claudia provided a mobile phone with internet on it to help get around. The location is great with the malecon nearby and some good cafes and bars, and out of the busy central part of Havana but only a short taxi journey away. Claudia is the friendliest host, and will offer lots of great advice and stories, and go out of her way to make your stay good. I also loved my fresh mango and passion fruit juices in the morning!

Claudia was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I can not say enough great things about her. She is extremely organized, efficient and resourceful (a must if you are traveling to Cuba). She is also friendly, professional, polite, and passionate about what she does. Claudia organized a fantastic trip for us and we felt like we got to see the real Cuba or at least a small part. We also asked her to be our guide which could not have worked out any better. Our experiences: 1) a marvelous trip to an organic farm where we prepared a scrumptious local meal using local products (they baked a yuca bread and we had amazing coconut pate that were experimenting with) We made an exquisite sofrito with rice and beans and grilled pork. Both the company and the meal were outstanding - such good food and great people. 2) a trip to Vinales where we went horseback riding, saw a tobacco farm and smoked a few excellent local Cuban cigars, and also went birdwatching on a mountain over looking a scenic valley. 3) a walking trip through old Havana with Claudia which was wonderful and extremely insightful 4) a few wonderful local restaurants and bars recommended by her 5) a great trip to the beach where we caught sun and some local musicians. 6) a few local places like Fusterlandia, Callejon De Hamel (an alley devoted to Santeria), and the large shopping warehouse off of the Malencon. 7) I am sure I missed a few things but you get how well this was organized in a country that is hard to keep things organized. It was all an amazing experience and it would not have been the same without Claudia s insight and guidance. Please use her as your experience planner and confidant if she is available.
